Wadi Rum

Watch out for camels. On the road to Wadi Rum. Drove from Petra to Wadi Rum, pretty quick drive.
The Seven Pillars of Wisdom, named in honor of T.E. Lawrence who used Wadi Rum as his base of operations during the Arab Revolt. Sand dune. Lots of red sand.
My ride in the corner. Broken windows, broken speedometer, and it felt like no shocks. Climbing to the top of a sand dune. Tea in the middle of the desert.
Started to get cloudy unfortunately. Bedouin petroglyphs. What passes for plant life here.
Camels. One of the high points in the wadi. In a canyon.
Making tea. Another canyon shot. I try to avoid the tourist shots as much as possible, but occasionally one sneaks in.
Camel riders. Looking towards the entrance to the canyon. Getting ready to ride out.
Sunset. Wadi Rum was the filming location for a lot of Lawrence of Arabia. Pink clouds.
Thinking I should probably start climbing back down the rocks before it gets completely dark. When your driver recommends moving on and spedning the night in Aqaba, you should probably listen. Food was good though.
